Strengthen Your Practice Yoga Workshop

Taking your yoga practice to the next level is sometimes a daunting prospect but when approached with the correct guidance and care, you will find a strength and connection that you didn’t know you had!

Following the success of my Learn to Fly - Arm Balance workshops, I am regularly being asked to run additional sessions that help my students to move beyond the postures that are normally approached in a regular yoga class, therefore I have put together 4 individual workshops where you will have the opportunity to safely and light heartedly move your practice forwards.

Over the 4 sessions, I will be guiding you towards:

Blissful Backbending: Ustrasana (Camel Pose), Urdhva Dhanurasana (Wheel Pose), Natarajasana (Dancer Pose),

Happy Hamstring: Hanumanasana (The Splits), Kurmasana (Tortoise), Parivrtta Surya Yantrasana (Compass Pose)

Beautifully Balanced: Utthita Hasta Padangusthasana (Extended Hand-to-Big-Toe Pose),
Virabhadrasana III (Warrior III)
Ardha Chandrasana (Half Moon Pose)

Insightful Inversions: Halasana (Plow Pose), Sarvangasana (Shoulder Stand) Adho Mukha Vrksasana (Handstand), adho mukha shvanasana (Downward Dog)

The correct and safe engagement of the body and use of the core along with an understanding of how you can use the energy of the earth to empower your practice, will all be explored during each of these workshops.

Tailored towards a particular posture or series of postures, I will ensure you take away active changes that you can implement, even in your regular yoga class or home practice, thereby ensuring you will continue to grow and strengthen your practice, beyond the workshop space.

Should the final postures seem beyond your comfort zone at this stage, there will be plenty of opportunity for you to grow and strengthen your practice in many ways during each workshop, with no pressure whatsoever for you to attain the final posture.

I will be limiting these workshops to a maximum of 8 people each, to ensure I can give you my full attention and guidance.

A 30 minute Deep Sound Relaxation will end each workshop so that you leave feeling invigorated, and fully relaxed.

The cost is £40 per workshop. Early Bird price £35 if paid for 1 month or more before the date of the workshop.

You are welcome to attend all or just one of the above dates.

Bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable unless your place can be filled and at the discretion of Yoga Freedom.
